Programme Structure
A structured learn-practice-apply cycle across 12 weeks
Each module follows the same structured cycle to develop competence through application:
Workshop
Learn neuroscience frameworks and facilitation techniques in live sessions (2.5 hours online, Tuesdays 3-5:30pm GMT)
Practice Lab
Practice facilitation in small groups with peer observation and facilitator feedback (2 hours online)
In the Field
Coach a real team through three 2-hour sessions scheduled at times that suit you and the team
Participants typically work with workplace teams, existing clients, or pro-bono arrangements. Guidance provided during orientation.
Reflect & Integrate
Self-directed study, buddy check-ins, and reflection activities between sessions
Total time commitment: approximately 40 hours over 12 weeks — 17.5 hours facilitated learning, 19.5 hours self-directed study and practice, plus 6 hours coaching a real team at your convenience.

CO-CREATE Inspiring Objectives (establish brain-friendly team goals)
4.5 hrsLearn three keys to brain-friendly goals and apply a four-step process for establishing team objectives that drive accountability.
Facilitate Results (generate team insights)
6.5 hrsUse the ARIA Model™ and Eureka Scale™ to facilitate team insights and run efficient coaching sessions through parallel processing.
Defuse (and navigate) Team Conflict
2.5 hrsIdentify conflict sources and apply emotion regulation strategies for different threat levels using real-world scenarios.

What are the prerequisites for this programme?
Completion of Brain-Based Conversation Skills (BBCS) and 50 hours of individual coaching experience. BBCS provides the neuroscience foundation, skills and models that this programme builds upon.

Do I need to find my own team to practice with?
Yes. Part of the programme involves coaching a real team of 4-8 people over three 2-hour sessions. We provide detailed guidance during orientation on how to source and engage teams.
Common approaches:
- Work with a team from your organisation (most common for internal coaches)
- Offer pro-bono team coaching to a team in your network
- Arrange sessions with an existing client
What is the time commitment?
Approximately 40 hours over 12 weeks (average 3-4 hours per week):
- 17.5 hours live facilitated sessions (Tuesdays 3-5:30pm GMT)
- 19.5 hours self-directed learning and reflection
- 6 hours coaching your practice team (scheduled flexibly)
What ICF credentials does this programme provide?
37 ICF Continuing Coach Education (CCE) units: 33 Core Competency hours and 4 Resource Development hours, accredited against ICF Team Coaching Competencies. These units apply to ICF credential renewals (ACC, PCC, MCC) and can be used toward team coaching credentials.
