AI Transformation and the Brain

Learn the psychology of human-first AI adoption. Neutralize the brain’s default threat response to change, overcome cognitive capacity limits, and build a culture where experimentation thrives.
Redesign workflows, reimagine learning and performance
AI is rewriting the rules of organizational design, performance management, and workforce strategy.
Learn from your peers about what’s working in the field. Work through a process to find the right places to focus, and identify new ways of thinking about driving performance and learning.

She translates cognitive and social neuroscience into actionable solutions for organizations as well as helps to communicate relevant research in an accessible manner for the public. Before joining NLI, Emma was a tenured professor of biology and neuroscience at Dominican College, and before that taught neuroscience at New York University, both of which developed her ability to distill information for all levels of understanding and compel learning. She received her BS in human biology from Brown University and PhD in neuroscience from the Center for Neural Science at New York University. During this time, she authored over 20 peer reviewed academic articles that explored the brain at all levels – from the neural physiology of a single cell, to how this cell’s activity drives our decisions and actions, and the effect of learning on performance.
