In Module 1, you built the habits and skills for managing yourselves better by leveraging your strengths and working around the challenges of the brain. 

In Module 2, you’ll explore the foundation of connecting effectively one-to-one with your team. You’ll start by widening pathways of communication, learning to efficiently activate visual networks in others, and helping people see what you see. You’ll explore how to help others solve problems faster, supporting people as they generate their own insights. Next, you’ll explore how to set truly achievable goals and maintain focus. Finally, you will deepen your skills to create better feedback loops and approach difficult conversations with confidence.

To manage others well, first, you need to manage yourself. In particular, managing others involves a big jump in the volume of information to process, the complexity of problems to solve, the intensity of emotions to manage, and the need to motivate yourself. 

 

In Module 1, you’ll learn brain hacks for juggling information more easily and techniques for uncovering insights faster when trying to solve complex problems. Next, you’ll learn brain-based techniques for managing your emotions more effectively and staying in the optimal zone for peak decision-making amid uncertainty. Finally, you’ll work on how to maintain the energy you need to manage others, as well as use the right mindset to help you adapt faster.

Who are the International Coaching Federation (ICF?)
The International Coaching Federation is a global organization dedicated to advancing the coaching profession, by setting high standards, providing certification and building a worldwide network of coaching professionals.
What is the ICF accreditation level for each program?
The Brain-Based Coaching Certificate program is approved as a Level 1 Provider by the ICF and provides 68.5 hours of coach education training (BBCS: 30 hours and BBCT: 38.5 hours). The program includes group mentoring, individual mentoring, and a performance evaluation, all of which are requirements for the ICF’s ACC Certificate application.
What is the ICF Level 1?
ICF Level 1 is the  first level of credentialing offered by the International Coaching Federation.  Graduates of the full Based Coaching Certificate (BBCS + BBCT) are eligible to apply for the Associate Certified Coach (ACC) Credential using the Level 1 application path, subject to meeting the credentialing requirements.
What proof of Certification will I receive?
Upon completing all modules and meeting attendance requirements, you'll receive proof of ICF CCE units, a digital certificate, and a Credly Digital Badge for each course. These can be displayed on your website, social media, marketing materials, and email signature.
What's the attendance requirement for the Brain Based Caching Certificate?

For BBCS, the requirements include attending 90% of all live learning sessions and completing 90% of the self-study learning. For BBCT, in addition to the above, participants must also complete 100% of coaching in action and individual mentoring sessions, and pass the final performance evaluation.

What qualification/prior experience do I need to join this program?
Prior coaching experience isn't necessary for attending the BBCS. Our brain-based tools and techniques empower coaches, regardless of experience level, to achieve better results. Completion of BBCS is required to advance to the Brain Based Coaching Toolkit.
