Lasting success in the business world results from more than just the time and effort you put into your work. It's also due to your ability to tap into your own potential as a professional. Your ability to reflect on the strengths and weaknesses of your processes and identify growth areas is an important element in pushing yourself toward where you want to be.
Leaders of all kinds, from high-level management officials to professional coaches, are key figures in showing people how to maximize their potential. Understanding the science behind these processes can help you lead more effectively, which can subsequently help you push others toward positive growth.
That's what you'll learn in our Brain-Based Coaching (BBC) course. Through our cutting-edge workshops, you'll discover your own definition of leadership and how you can harness that knowledge to empower the people around you. Plus, you'll gain a certificate that can boost your credibility as a leader or coach. Interested? Learn more below.
According to the International Coaching Federation (ICF), coaching is the process of working with clients to maximize their professional and personal capabilities through creative and thought-provoking discussions.
NeuroLeadership Institute's BBC program teaches business professionals how to use neuroscience to facilitate productive and effective coaching through the concepts of learning, motivation, and change. The course aims to lead you to your own insights rather than explicitly telling you what to do.
Those who are new to the world of coaching will gain a toolkit of cognitive tools they can use to start successfully coaching others, while experienced coaches and leaders can hone their existing skills through in-class examples and partner work.
BBC is for more than just CEOs and high-level management. Anyone who wishes to refine their leadership or coaching skills can benefit from obtaining a certificate in Brain-Based Coaching, including:
We've designed our programs using the latest neuroscientific principles to drive real, visible results. Additionally, at the end of the course, we'll help you create an actionable plan so you can translate your new knowledge into the real world.
Here's a sampling of what you can gain from our programs:
We formed our BBC programs in partnership with the ICF, so our course feeds seamlessly into obtaining other coaching certifications, including ACC, PCC, and MCC.
Completing both our Brain-Based Conversation Skills (BBCS) program and a BBC certification will provide you with 76.5 total hours in Continuing Coach Education (CCE) units, which you can use to fulfill the training portion of the ICF Accreditation Process via Portfolio Pathway.
Upon completion of the BBC certificate, you also have the option to complete the Results-Certified Coach (RCC) certification assessment, which evaluates your coaching skills based on the ICF Core Competencies for Coaching. An RCC certification provides a benchmark for your abilities and boosts your credibility as a trained coach.
